Important: The L & R Boat Latch is not intended for road travel, only for use on the boat ramp. On the road your boat should be tensioned up with the winch and tie downs used to keep it in place. Always detach the winch and the safety chain to launch and re‑attach before you leave the ramp at the water’s edge.

Is it easy to install?

In general, the L & R Boat Latch Kit is very easy to install. Just refer to the detailed instructions in the Installation Guide. We have approved installers we can recommend. Or you can work with your preferred trailer or boat team.
Please note, the L & R Boat Latch must be installed according to the Installation Guide or your warranty will be void.
